Ezy Reading:
The March for Our Lives NYC- A Photo Essay
Evan Kanarakis

On Saturday, March 24th, over 100,000 people participated in New York's March For Our Lives demonstration in favor of tighter gun control. In the wake of the recent shooting tragedy at Stoneham Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida that claimed seventeen lives, a renewed activism -led by several of the very students who survived the shooting- prompted the 'never again' movement to announce the march.

Estimates of participation within North America have been put at as many as 2 million, making it one of the biggest such protests in American history, but it also prompted a global response, with rallies as far afield as Sydney, Paris, Mozambique and Hong Kong.

Here are just a few photos that share the story of this most important, historical day from New York.
