Ezy Reading: Shadows On The Afternoon |
I've think he's there.
But well beyond view.
So I brace for the darkness and, with hope firmly in hand
Peer over the precipice.
Oh, he's there.
Close.
I saw the void shift ever so slightly.
I think he smiled at me.
So I'll take the chance,
Dive and slip into the ether.
Swimming below into the darkness,
His Shadows wash over me.
So I accept my fate
Sinking deeper.
As the last glimmer of light slips over the horizon.
Clinging to that hope.
But free.
Ezy Reading is out every Monday.
