I listened patiently to all their advice,
Let them air their many concerns.
And I truly listened, I did.

But in the end, all I could think of was:
No matter what may come,
No matter how things may work out
(and they all seemed to think the answer was: ‘poorly’)
I needed to honor the moment.

And right then, in that moment-
I saw a future that was bright and exciting, and full of possibility.

So I jumped.
