Throughout history the 'victors' have always been guilty of two things: rewriting history to suit their own narratives, and believing -even after the most 'just' of wars- that victory is to be celebrated. When good has triumphed over evil we can find solace, but there's little left in the wake of human conflict to celebrate on.
