No Right To Execute
If America's swollen prison populations represent our failure as a society to protect and nurture our underclass, then the death penalty remains the most finite evidence of that failure, and of our moral shortcomings.

Mr Smith perfectly elucidates the arguments against the death penalty -the law is imperfect (and has often been drafted out of political motivations), people need to be given a chance to change and reform, and our moral obligations. That said, good luck convincing the political right of this logic!

The the name 'Lindy Chamberlain' should live in infamy for so many Australians is a true shame. Our media still has a great deal to answer for given the manner in which they publicly tortured an innocent woman (and victim).
