Be This The Verse?

KJ

My, what a lovely white coast you wear!

Thank you & ditto. Shall we proceed with the presentation of the machine?

Yes. Well, as you can see here, we have the most evolved version of the technology.

You'll hear more on that later.

So. What we have succeeded on is using the device to take man into the present.

Correct. The machine always takes a person right into the present, no matter what time it was.

The travel takes about nine months. In some cases we have had faster times.

There are problems associated with that though.

Yes, there are some problems.

Although, we tried other forms, we can't get the timing or temperature quite right.

We have had some debugging to do. We gave up due to expense.

This is the best working model we could find.

Does anyone want to know how it works?

Please hold your applause to the end.

Or your complaints and concerns.

We have only got this one version functioning properly.

It is usually capable of a few trips and then it stops working.

Only three or so can be brought to modern day in most cases.

There have been outliers: eight seems to be the magic number.

We have got our best people on top of it.

My, what a lovely white coat she wears!

Hold your applause till the end.

& your complaints.

Well, anyone would look white under this much light.

Everyone in R&D thinks this model sleeker.

Each model lasts for awhile, but resists obsolescence.

It is a perk we had not anticipated.

Sometimes they try to compete with other models.

We have noticed some minor problems with time.

People seem to react badly if & when they see the outdated version they came to the present in.

The acculturation process is not as easy because the old model is familiar with a different time.

The old machines did not help travelers figure out the era they inhabited at all.

Progress comes slowly, but it comes.

We have given up looking into alternative forms of incubation and transport

because some feel unnatural or are shunned by other travelers for being unfashionable or fake.

& look at this latest version. Finally we have some sex appeal.

A toast to technology! A toast.

Drop your applause.

Thank you. Thank you.
